TERRANO MOSS

Terrano Moos is 100% natural moss for the herpetorium.

It is fixed in a thin layer of fleece. This makes it possible to cut to size and adjust to suit any requirements. With the help of HOBBY silicone glue, for example, you can also fix the moss directly to the back or side wall of your glass, plastic or wooden terrarium. It keeps its shape after cutting. Therefore, there is no risk that the moss will fray or lose its shape when dry. Terrano Moos also offers all the advantages of ordinary moss. It has an unlimited lifespan and can be re-moistened at any time. It is ideally suited to increase the humidity in the terrarium and keep it stable for a longer period of time. Its properties are especially appreciated by those inhabitants of terrariums with high humidity requirements. Terrano Moos has extremely versatile uses, whether required to facilitate skin changes for snakes and lizards, as a lining in wet boxes* or as a substrate for egg deposition as well as decoration. After wetting Terrano Moos with water, it is immediately ready for use.

*Wet-Box:

A wet box offers residents the possibility of moisture replenishment. It facilitates the animal's shaping process and provides coolness on hot days, increases hydration through the skin while improving the skin environment and therefore preventing skin conditions. This is also used by some genera for egg laying. Perfectly suitable as a wet box are e.g. the HOBBY Wood Cave 1 + 2 or the HOBBY Eckhöhle Bark

Caution: the filling material must be changed regularly to prevent mould growth!
