Suitable for parrots, raptors and other birds that hatched and for a few weeks are blind, helpless and unable to move. They are also unable to control their body temperature and feed themselves.

During this period the young birds must be kept in a clean, temperature-controlled environment as free as possible from atmospheric pollutants such as fungal spores and dust. As they grow and feathers that can tolerate progressively lower temperatures grow, the grower is able to reduce the temperature of the chamber easily while maintaining control. Young birds benefit for the reason that they are able to see the human through the chamber. During the early stages of their development it is important for young birds to become familiar with the presence of humans if they are to be tamed into adulthood.

The new TLC-40 and TLC-50 parrot feeders can fulfill all these functions at a very low cost, they can also be used as hospitals for sick or injured birds. The two models differ in size. The TLC-40 has a volume of 40 litres and the TLC-50, 100 litres.

In addition, each model is available in Eco or Advance control system. The Eco provides digital control and temperature reading while the Advance also shows humidity, temperature and an alarm in case of a power failure. It can be further complemented with the optional EX Brinsea Humidity Pump which provides full humidity control. Advance versions include internal LED lighting that is reliable and effective.
