KITTY SAND is non-toxic to pets and people. Silica is used as a food additive in products such as beer, salt substitutes and dry coffee creams.

The shelf life of the product will be shortened if it is kept in an area such as a bathroom or a damp basement because it constantly absorbs moisture.

Be sure to remove the cat's feces frequently, Kitty Sand will dry out the feces and occasional diarrhea by gradually pulling the moisture from them and reducing the odor. You will need a scoop with large holes.

KITTY SAND is biodegradable, when placed in the garbage or soil, the material completely breaks down in the earth in about a month!

Please do not pour it down the toilet, this could clog your drainage.

Take it out with the trash while wrapped in POOP BAGS or a compost pile.
