HABISTAT CARBON PRINTED HEAT MAT

HabiStat carbon-printed heat mats produce an extremely long wavelength of infrared heat that is invisible to the human eye, gently heating any surface it comes in contact with.

Heat Mats should always be run through the appropriate thermostat, such as the HabiStat Mat Stat or HabiStat Pulse Proportional Thermostat to regulate the temperature as they heat up.

Heat Mats work similarly to the sun, heating the surfaces they come in contact with. The gentle warmth allows animals to absorb heat by sitting directly under, next to or over the heated areas as they would in their natural environment. It should be noted that heat mats give a gentle background heat. If you are keeping animals that require higher temperatures, additional heat sources should be provided for these species.

Many lizard species that are active during the daytime require rather high local heat absorption points.

Heat mats are excellent heaters for most applications requiring night-time heating.

Suitable for wall, ceiling or floor mounting - refer to the instructions for testing and installing your heat mat.
