Designed as a replacement cartridge for Aquael Versamax Mini filters, It provides mechanical filtration (removal of impurities from the aquarium), also a sponge, which is very easy to grow nitrifying bacteria, also provides biological filtration.
Charcoal is a unique contribution to the filter, made of high quality activated carbon, which has excellent absorption properties. By placing it in the filter it captures chemicals from the aquarium, neutralizes heavy metal ions and chlorine.
It absorbs the residues of medicines and other chemicals.
It also perfectly removes various discolorations (e.g. caused by wood placed in the aquarium).
They are durable dust-free granules thanks to carefully developed dust removal technology.
