ARC POD REPTILE COMPACT LAMP

The Arcadia Pod Reptile Compact Lamp is a PL lamp with a UVB-emitting lamp.

Water turtles need UV radiation to stay healthy.

UVA light provides a natural environment. UVB rays ensure that vitamin D3 is absorbed into the body (through skin synthesis). D3 ensures that calcium is absorbed during digestion. If we do not expose animals to UVB radiation, deficiencies of key nutrients can occur and this can lead to long-term health problems.

The fixture is easy to install on glass, with glass thicknesses up to 8 mm.

To create natural lighting and warmth, we recommend combining this compact Arcadia Pod Reptile lamp with a heat point. PL lamps do not emit any heat.

Lifetime

PL lamps have a long lifetime of visible light emission. However, the emission in UV storage is limited, so this lamp should be replaced every 7 to 12 months. Write the date with a marker on the base of the lamp to get a better understanding of when the lamp needs to be replaced.
