ADVANCED SOIL is an aquarium substrate highly recognized by experienced aquaculturists in Japan and many other countries around the world. The ADVANCED SOIL formula is based on years of research and excellent knowledge of the needs of the aquarium plants and animals.

-It ensures rapid maturation of the tank, facilitates the stabilization of optimal water conditions and stimulates the growth of plants and shrimps in the aquarium. In this respect, the substrate is far superior to conventional sand or gravel.

-Due to the special structure of the substrates, the beneficial substances are gradually released into the water. Thanks to the slow release, the substrates retain their properties for a long time and do not need to be replaced frequently.

-It is a professional substrate for planted aquariums, including modern natural aquariums. It consists of black granules with a diameter of 1 to 4 mm. The substrate contains only natural organic ingredients.

- It improves the water parameters, adopting them to the needs of aquatic plants. It maintains the carbonate hardness level up to 3° d and the pH level in the range of 5,5 to 6,5.

- It contains a large quantity of nutrients that are gradually released into the water to ensure the perfect growth of even the most demanding aquatic plant species that draw mineral substances from the soil.

- The porous structure of the substrate provides a perfect habitat for beneficial filtering bacteria that eliminate nitrogen compounds from the water and improve water quality.

- The intensely dark colour of the substrate produces a stunningly beautiful effect.

The bright green or bright red colours of the aquatic plants are clearly visible on the black background of the substrate, creating an excellent visual impression.

ADVANCED SOIL PLANTS substrate is available in 3 litre bags (which can be used to create nano-plant aquariums with a capacity of up to 30 litres) and 8 litre bags (sufficient for aquarium tanks with a bottom dimension of 60x30cm).
